This sweet Yellowsided (Opaline) Green Cheek Conure hatched on March 14 from our breeding pair Tango (yellowsided) and Mylie (yellowside dilute) and is growing into a beautiful, playful little companion. He is fully flighted for strong development and confidence and has been hand-raised in a loving home environment. He is eating a healthy diet of pellets and fresh veggies and is estimated to be weaned the 2nd weekend of May. DNA testing has confirmed he is a male. Green Cheek Conures are known for their affectionate personalities, playful antics, and quieter nature compared to other parrots. Yellowsided Green Cheeks, in particular, show off gorgeous vibrant colors with bright yellow sides and rich red on the belly. He is being well-socialized with everyday household sounds and activities to ensure an easy transition into a family setting.
