I bought an eclectus from Pretty Exotic Birds and from start to finish, the process was a wonderful experience. Communication was thorough. Plenty of updates were given until my baby was ready to ship. I asked for lots of pictures along the way and they were always promptly and kindly sent. The shipping process couldn’t have been smoother. My bird was sent with the utmost care. At every step of the process, the seller offered all the information one could imagine, as well as recommended care after receipt of the bird. Lab work was provided and was as close to the day of transfer as humanly possible. Most importantly, my bird is amazing. From the moment I picked him up, we have been inseparable. It was immediately apparent that he was EXTREMELY comfortable with human hands and interaction. It’s very clear that he was handled with care far beyond what any other bird I’ve encountered had received. I was initially nervous making such a commitment, both time and finances, without meeting the bird or setting an aviary in person. All my fears were quickly addressed.
