🦜 Our Experience with Florida Parrot – A Dream Come True! ❤️ Hi everyone! My name is Lindsey, and I’m from Bryson City, North Carolina. I wanted to take a moment to share our wonderful experience with Carlos and the Florida Parrot team! In February 2026, our family placed a deposit on a Blue-Headed Macaw. Over the following months, we stayed in contact with Carlos, but unfortunately, the breeding pair did not produce eggs as originally anticipated. After some consideration, we reached out to Carlos to discuss the possibility of welcoming a different species of macaw into our family. He responded almost immediately and let us know that he had a beautiful Scarlet Macaw available. He sent us pictures and videos, and from the moment we saw him, we knew he was the one for us! We completed all the necessary paperwork, signed our contracts, and finalized payment. Carlos then took care of arranging transportation for our new feathered family member to be flown from Florida to our nearest airport in North Carolina. Having never picked up a live animal through Delta Cargo before, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect. However, the entire process was incredibly smooth, organized, and surprisingly easy! What impressed us most was the extraordinary care that went into preparing our bird for his journey. Carlos provided an exceptional shipping crate that was clearly designed with our bird’s safety and comfort in mind. It featured a little viewing window, plenty of ventilation, food, water, and even toys to keep him entertained during his flight! In fact, the Delta Cargo employees told us it was the nicest bird shipping carrier they had ever seen come through their facility! That alone speaks volumes about the level of care and attention Carlos puts into his birds. Throughout the entire process, Carlos was wonderful to work with. Over the months we waited, I reached out several times with questions and requests for updates, and he was always quick to respond, patient, and helpful. His communication and professionalism made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and reassuring. Today, we are beyond grateful to say that our family has welcomed one of the most breathtaking bird species in the world into our home: a beautiful Scarlet Macaw whom we have named Tito! ❤️🦜 Tito has already brought so much happiness into our lives, and we truly feel that everything worked out exactly as it was meant to. We cannot thank Carlos and the entire Florida Parrot team enough for helping make our family’s dream of owning a macaw come true. We are already looking forward to purchasing another bird from Florida Parrot in the future! After our experience, we cannot imagine trusting anyone else with such an important decision. The professionalism, communication, transparency, and genuine care we experienced have earned our family’s trust and loyalty. WOW!! I was nervous about buying a parrot online, but Carlos made the process easy. He answered every question, kept me updated, and my healthy, well-socialized parrot arrived safely. Excellent service and communication. Highly recommend them.
