I've had my bird 4 mo. now. When I received him he had poor quality plumage, frayed feathers and stress bars. His band says he's from Florida, not Ohio, these guys might be brokers of some sort. Will not be doing business with them again!

I bought a Black Capped Conure from the shop this summer. My bird got a perfect bill of health from the Avian Vet. My conure is friendly which shows he was well socialized. I'm very happy with my bird and hope to buy another bird from them soon!

We bought a baby linnie. He is healthy, happy, inquisitive and energetic. We visited the shop to pick him up and were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the way the birds were cared for. Paul was prompt in responding to inquiries and the staff at the store were helpful and courteous.this breeder exceeded my expectations and I recommend them highly. One minor issue was the wing clip. Appropriate for most birds, but I believe too severe for a linnie which is heavy for its size.

If you are looking for a well adjusted baby or young bird I would highly recommend In A Pickle Parrot Shop. We purchased our new baby Sun Conure from there. She is so sweet and has adjusted very quickly to her new cage mate and new surroundings. The price was quite fair and the all of the babies there were cognitive, spirited, and held potential. Some of the younger Amazons also spoke. Several birds, including the macaws, were adorably playful. They accept cash or credit card as a final payment.

IAP, we bought a baby blue n gold macaw, she is one of the best things in our life!! Paul is awesome and always makes time for you.. they spend the time making sure to answer all your questions and making sure your happy and connect with your bird...they help you to know how to care for your bird if u have questions.. and even after you take your bird home..your still important to them... With them it's not all about money...they care..:)

My wife and I have been extremely pleased with In a Pickle Parrots. We've been there twice, once while researching, and again when we were ready to purchase. Paul and Jeani took several hours with us, answering questions, giving advice, and helping us feel comfortable with our choices. Last night, we brought home Inara, a female Gold Cap Conure, and we are extremely happy with her. She is sweet and friendly, and seems to be adjusting very well. She has obviously been well socialized!

I got my African Grey from In A Pickle. The store is clean. All the employees are very caring to the birds. My bird is very loveable to everyone. He is 14 weeks ls and is already beginning to talk. I was very glad I traveled the distance for my Rocket. he is a joy to our family. even our schnauzer can greet him nose to nose. It is amazing. I got my blue-headed pionus from In a Pickle about a year and a half ago, and I couldn't believe how well-adjusted and well-socialized he was! He's not afraid of new toys, and is actually quite the talker (which I was not expecting from a pionus). He will be two in May, and is a healthy, happy little guy. I would not do business with this breeder again unless I was able to first meet the bird. Was promised a sweet handfed bird and the bird I received was not well socialized at all. Communication with breeder was one way and he would not respond for several days. Bird shipped with no DNA papers and absolutely no instructions. Bad customer service after I contacted them...very rude and offensive. Beware!

I really wanted this cockatiel baby so I drove from Tennessee to get him. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The cockatiel was gorgeous, big, healthy, and he is the sweetest little baby ever! Even after a long trip home (9 hours) he was ready to come out and play the next morning. He has adjusted amazingly well and I think the credit goes to the care the breeders obviously gave him. I would certainly not hesitate to get another bird from them in the future. Thanks!

I got a male SI Eclectus from this breeder. I mainly dealt with Paul who was very helpful and communicative. I got a beautiful bird who I love. He is still getting used to being in his new home with another bird and two dogs. He is progressing really well, and was taking food from my hand today. It's always a little scary dealing with a breeder that you don't meet face to face and having a bird shipped, but these guys are very trustworthy and they do what they say they are going to do.
