They can be a great starter bird for new bird owners. Don't let their small size fool you, because they have giant personalities and are extremely intelligent. They are bold, sassy, sweet and affectionate. Some can even learn to talk. Ideally, the minimum cage size for this bird would be 25’’ long, 21’’ wide and 29’’ high with ½’’ wire spacing.
