They knew the answers to anything I asked them. The birds are so sweet and they were groomed upon delivery to me. They each got two toys and food galore. Kim was extremely knowledgable and helpful through the process. We have had a very good experience and have been able to ask questions after the purchase. I recently brought home my CAG after waiting for it to be weaned. He is wonderful! Gentle, friendly with us and our kids. He eats well plays great with us and alone. I really appreciate how she spends her time with the birds, rather than the "stuffy/industrial" type aviaries. All my friends comment on how my baby is so affectionate and they didn't think birds could be this way. I felt Kim is knowledgeable and has a vested interest in her buyers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. She is courteous and professional, pleasant to work with and a great help. Although she is located quite a distance from me she met me halfway. I have other birds but found the packet of information provided to me very informative. And she gave us a bag of food to get our new baby started as well as a couple of toys. My Lily is the sweetest birdie in the whole world. All of the birdies are hand raised and you can tell that they love what they do just by watching them. I was always welcome in their home to visit, in fact I was encouraged to come visit. Kim's knowledge and caring hands have raised some amazing birds and probably answered some off the wall questions, but without a doubt she always came through. I had a Great experience with Kim. I loved the the fact that she sent photos weekly of my African grays progress during weaning, and that I was able to visit my little one during that process. Kim Customer Name: Mark Chesapeake, VA 7/5/2012 Rating: I had an excellent experience with KB's Exotice Birds. I bought Marley, our Blue-headed Pionus from Kim and brought him home this week. During the weaning process, we visited Marley several times and were always made to feel welcome and at home. We were always provided with great advice on caring for our new bird as well as birds that we had aquired elsewhere. Customer Name: Jenny Newport News, Virginia 6/15/2012 Rating: Can't say anything about bird quality, however breeder seems money hungry. Sold the bird I was coming to visit the night before my visit to the aviary. Her only words were "Sorry. They go quick" Wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a breeder who is in it for the birds/customer satisfaction, not the money. Very big disappointment. Breeder Reply: I get lots of e-mails and calls from people who never respond or aren't positive about a specific bird. I had no deposit to hold a baby. I replied to you that my babies go quick and since I didn't have a deposit and someone wanted it, it was sold. This is a first come, first serve business. I have held birds in the past without a deposit only to have people not show up or not buy the baby when I had other people interested. You think this is a money making business, why don't you get into it. I can't turn away customers because someone says in e-mail, they want to SEE a baby. i place quality birds into good homes as best as I see fit. You don't know me, we have never met and yet you bad mouth my business. But that's okay, you have a nice day and i hope you find a great baby. I know the baby in question is going to a great home and that customer is very satisfied.
