The chick was not weaned so Carmen helped me create a “certificate” to give her Christmas morning. After the holidays, Carmen let us come her aviary and handle/feed our “new one”. Overall, it was an exceptional experience. Carmen went above and beyond to make make it that way. I highly recommend her. He is so friendly and sweet and even takes a nap with him a few times a day. He makes him laugh and is a constant source of entertainment. Even after months of research to decide on the correct species for our lifestyle, Carmen was a plethora of knowledge. I purchased a white capped pionus who we’ve named Dublin. Due to inclement weather, it took some time to have my baby delivered via stork (aka Delta) ;) However, it was well worth the wait for this sweet natured, well-socialized baby who has captured my family’s heart. They are extremely nice people and really care about their birds. Their birds are tame, and you can really tell they spend a lot of time with them. My bird I purchased has turned out to be so sweet, and a life-long companion. On a scale of 1-10, I would give them an 11! I strongly recommend this breeder and will definitely be using them in the future!
