I have been buying birds from Jessica over the past 2 years! Matter of fact I've bought 4 with in the last year!!!!!!!!!! Harlequin Macaw, Blue and Gold Macaw, Umbrella Cockatoo and a Cherry Headed Conure...they all are rotten and doing great!!
I have never ever had a problem with Jessica H.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is a wonderful person and very helpfull when you have questions. I plan on buying more birds and when I do- they are coming from JESSICA HURLEY!! She's the best!!

Recieved my baby CAG Sat. So excited!
Sunday- baby isn't perching like a healthy parrot, loose, smelly droppings.
Monday - baby stops eating by the afternoon. Lethargic. Starts to vomit violently. Too late to find vet. Provide water and hospital cage.
Tuesday morning- rush to avian vet who immediatly puts baby in intensive care. Tests reveal atrophied liver, baby is 1/3 of his normal weight, many serious abnormalities.
Thursday- baby dies.
Jessica is defensive & cold. I'm devastated.

Breeder Reply:
I am aware of the problem and saddened by death of the bird mentioned. I have been patiently awaiting the results of the necropsy, so that my vet, my breeder and I can review and resolve this problem. I have always maintained that if a bird dies due to pre-existing condition, I will replace the bird. However, I must have all paperwork before I can do this. Once the paperwork is received, I will be more than happy to do whatever is necessary to resolve this issue. |

Just received an unweaned Umbrella Cockatoo Baby from Jessica. I had never bought a bird without seeing it first or knowing the person I am buying from first. I have to say I worried about it. Communication was good and questions were answered promptly. Pictures were sent. The Umbie arrived in much better feather and mood than I expected. Jessica did a great job. This unweaned baby looks as though she hasn't missed a meal and was just as happy as she could be after the flight. Thanks!

My first dealing with Jessica was when I purchased a juvenile pair of Blue Throat Macaws 3 yrs ago. She was very helpful, informative, and easy to deal with in the transaction. We purchased a proven pair of African Grey parrots from Lone Palm Aviary. They were shipped from FL to TX yesterday. They are beautiful Greys, and arrived in good spirits. Jessica communicated with us throughout the process. We would definitely do business with her again!
