72 hour health guarantee

At Rock the Flock LLC, the health and well-being of our birds are a priority. All birds in our care are monitored daily, and we make every reasonable effort to ensure they are healthy at the time of placement. To the best of our knowledge, birds are free from known illness at the time of sale. We will not knowingly sell a sick bird, and any known health concerns, abnormalities, or relevant medical conditions will be disclosed prior to purchase. 72-Hour Veterinary Examination Buyers are strongly encouraged to have their new bird examined by a licensed veterinarian experienced in avian medicine within 72 hours of receiving the bird. This examination is required to qualify for the voluntary 72-hour health guarantee described below. Any diagnostic testing supporting a claim must be initiated within this 72-hour period. Laboratory results received after the deadline may still be considered, provided the samples were collected within the required period. Health Guarantee and Resolution If a licensed veterinarian determines that the bird has a significant illness or health condition that was present at the time of sale, the buyer must promptly notify Rock the Flock LLC and provide written veterinary documentation supporting the diagnosis. Upon confirmation of a qualifying health condition under this guarantee, the buyer may choose either: Return the bird for a replacement bird of comparable value, subject to availability and mutual agreement on the replacement bird. Return the bird for a refund of the original purchase price, including applicable sales tax. If a suitable replacement is unavailable or the buyer prefers a refund, the refund option will apply. All returns must be coordinated with Rock the Flock LLC to ensure the bird's safe transportation and appropriate care. Necessary veterinary treatment should not be delayed while return arrangements are being made. Veterinary Expenses Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed upon in writing, veterinary examinations, diagnostic testing, treatments, and related expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. Limitations This voluntary guarantee does not cover illnesses, injuries, or conditions arising after transfer due to accidents, improper care, exposure to hazards, or other circumstances unrelated to the bird's condition at the time of sale. This guarantee does not replace or limit any consumer rights or remedies provided by applicable federal or state law.
