Sun conures are goegeous birds that get prettier with age until by the age of 1-2 years old, they are a brilliant yellow with a small amount of green remaining on their backs and wings and some oranges mixed in the yellows. Suns love people and are usually gentle even with children BUT, like all birds, should always be supervised with children. They have lots of pros but basically only one con; they have an extremely loud voice, therefore would not be suitable for apartment living or other situations where quiet is needed/preferred. Noise frequency can be handled to some extent by proper care which I will give tips on but some vocalizations are to be expected. This boy l;ost part of a back toe while in the nest but is perfectly capable to climb, walk ect. However due to the incident, his fee has been lowered somewhat.
