On eggs now. 2/4/21.
PLEASE read this entire ad: I will not sell unweaned babies as I enjoy this part of raising them. Babies are left with their parents until 3 weeks old weeks old and then hand-fed until they are fully weaned by 12 weeks. Babies will be DNA sexed and close-banded with their special ID number.
My pair of Alexandrine Parakeets are usually the first to lay in the early Spring and the fully weaned baby will be ready 12 weeks from the *hatch date*.
A more steady type of parakeet, Alexandrines are good at mimicking people-talk, whistles, and carry-a-tune.
They usually start to mimic at 8 or 9 months old but some pick it up quicker. These large, gentle parakeets need a macaw-sized cage to accommodate that long tail.
As I am not set up for credit cards or PayPal, The deposit of $200 will hold the baby in your name until it is fully weaned.
Until this virus is under control, I will not ship. You can incorporate the pickup with a vacation-trip if you have to travel far.
A cat carrier will be the appropriate transport as that is what they are use to when moved to their exercise area. My pair are on eggs at this time and will hatch toward the beginning of April. Call with any questions/ carmen Stuart 770 889-0353
