Forest Park Aviaries takes their birds seriously and they love each one. Our bird obviously had plenty of handling and love. They gave us information and a "starter kit" when we picked up our bird, and they answered follow-up questions. They did a fantastic job and we could not have asked for a better experience. I am impressed with the professional approach to the bird breeding and raising. Each person had defined responsibbilites and expertise: breeding, hand-feeding and training birds. I haven't seen so pleasent environment for birds to socialize and learnt to trust people, even from breeders. Weaning does not end the interaction but it is just a beging of training for a pet and preparing for the outside world.
