I'm sorry to learn that your daughter lost 3 Rosey Bourkes in over a period of one year. There are many reason why birds die. Not knowing the conditions of your daughter's cages, husbandry, environment, nutrition (what she feeds) and how she cares for them, I can't speculate as to why her birds died. I do know that the Rosey Bourkes were very healthy and young when you picked them up. None have died from the siblings of the bourkes you purchased. You've visited several times my large aviary flights with a mixture of different exotic finches and rosey bourkes that are breeding successfully. I do not sell sick birds. The cages in our aviaries are cleaned weekly, all the birds get proper, healthy nutritional diet, I myself takes care of their fresh food diet (veggies, sprouted seeds and others) almost everyday. I breed a lot of different species and mutations of birds. I have more than 50 prs of bourkes of different mutations living and breeding in our aviaries, all of which are housed outdoors and are covered and protected from the weather. I sell a lot of birds including bourkes, rosey's as well as the pricier mutations and have not heard any problem from the buyers, they do update me that the birds they purchased are breeding and have babies and are happy-satisfied - repeat customers. My warranty is clearly stated on my site.

I advised Tony to take the rosella to an avian vet which he ignored because he did not want to spend money on vet bills. Noel Garcia, is a haggler over everything. He will bombard you with repetitive questions via text, e-mail and phone calls. I am in contact with other people he has done this too. He is too quick to blame everything on the breeder, as he was too cheap to buy medications in a timely manner and take an ill bird to an avian vet immediately. My ONLY CONTACT with John was an email he sent me on 11/30 inquiring about pet bird. I am always very busy caring for my so many birds and also being a Thanksgiving weekend made me even busier. John was apparently so upset and his EGO was hurt that I did not immediately respond to his email (within 24 hrs) so he submitted the above negative feedback. A supposed lawyer who is not honest with his comments. I had not talked to him; he had not visited my aviaries nor has he seen any of my birds. His conduct reflects more of a PETULANT CHILD than a lawyer. Unknown to me at the time, HIS FATHER also inquired about the same bird w/in the same time frame. I realize that the birds' care is top priority, but it's been 3 weeks since I called. My concern as a prospective buyer is: If you're too busy to return customer calls after 3 weeks, how well are you able to keep up with everything else? I try very hard to be responsive to my clientele but sometimes too much is too much. I'm short staffed and very busy caring for my birds. After numerous calls and e-mails from Marisol asking the same questions over and over and listening to her complaints/demands, I finally had enough and decided that life is too short to engage her further and that it would be better not to do business with her. I wanted to avoid an embarrassing telephone confrontation telling her this, so I stopped responding to her calls. I do take care of my clients and have a lot of happy/return clientele in return.

This time of year is breeding season and I'm extremely busy taking care of my new babies and all the birds. They come first, and I apologize for not having time to respond to all my telephone messages and emails. The part time worker who was helping me went back to his family, which increased my workload and the demands on my time. Rachel, NO I did not sell the Plum Heads we talked about. They had eggs so I can not send them to you, then. They are now raising their 4 babies. In fact, I have lots of them. My listings on Birdbreeders expires (after 30 days) from posting, and I haven't had time to renew them. No DNA certificates came with them but we had no reason to believe they were not a pair.BEWARE-if you purchase birds and do not receive a DNA certificate you may not be getting what you believe you paid for. Eva claims that DNA mistakes are made often and because we did not catch the mistake within the first 30 days of purchase, she is not obligated in any way to rectify the mistake. Two clarifications. 1st, DNA lab mistakes are NOT made often but do occur in very rare occasions for various reasons. I've seen them occur perhaps 4 or 5 times in the 7 years I've been in business. 2nd, Anita asked for a REFUND (cash) on a bird purchased almost 2 years ago - not shortly after 30 days of purchase. My guarantee/ policy is clearly stated on my site. I do not know of any breeder that would issue a refund after 23 months (shipped May 2011) of a bird purchase.

Sarah Eva is so wonderful to do business with! I bought a 3 month old Congo African Grey and she is so healthy, active and alert! Albert I was refered by Pete below. It's TERRIBLE. Got a hold with her once to check on availability on some scarlet chested keets. Then I called her 10+ times with several messages the next days, with no success, to see if I can come get the birds. Another guy found out later for me that she did not have them anymore. If she does not care to call someone back to say "I do not have them anymore", does she care to follow up with you if something goes wrong? Albert Luu of Orange Co, CA likes to HAGGLE OVER PRICES.... I DO NOT.... He has called me numerous times (talked to him several occasions, left me couple of messages) over several months regarding different mutations of the Scarlet Chested keets, asks a bunch of questions and each time attempting to cut my posted prices or offering to trade birds at unacceptable valuations. I am tired of his haggling and do not wish to DEAL AND DO BUSINESS with people like him. He also sells finches and have heard from people that has dealt with him, that he does not like haggling on his prices either. Life is too short, time flies by so fast and I am VERY BUSY caring for my birds without hiring staffs in order to keep my costs down and offer my birds at competitive prices. I love what I do even though I know it will never make me rich. I try to return voice and email messages, usually in the early morning and evenings. Sometimes it may take until the next day or longer, especially during breeding season. I do care for my customers who share my love and passion of these beautiful birds. A few of them has had called when they have problems and concerns, I do follow up with my customers to answer and help them with their questions and concerns...I am blessed to have happy, satisfied and repeat clients who continues to buy my birds for the past several years....

Few days later, JC e-mailed me and wanted to apply the deposit toward a baby Turquoise GCC while at the same time, with out telling me, she filed a dispute with PayPal claiming that I failed to deliver the bird on such a date which she knew well that the baby parrot was not ready to be shipped. PayPal charged back my account for her deposit pending their investigation. I referred JC to my policy stated on my website that deposits are non- refundable. She sent me several abusive e-mails with antagonizing words. I then told her to take up the matter with Pay Pal...... Ultimately Pay Pal decided in my favor. I always try to work with my customers as well as fellow breeders, but it is difficult for me to tolerate threats and abusive language. ****WORDS are very powerful if applied correctly. Steve Eva did a marvelous job helping us with our first parrot, a Senegal. She answered tons of questions, and was happy to send us pictures of our baby as he became older and ready for his new home. She made the process of shipping the little guy across the country as stress-free as possible. Ginger Kistler Freehold, NJ I bought a Congo African Grey and a Swainson's Lorikeet from Eva last June, 2010. Birds arrived in beautiful condition. The Grey took a few days to come around but that's to be expected. The Lori on the other hand jumped right out of the box and onto my hand like she new me forever! I did make one honest mistake, not two as she claims. I apologized and offered Hilda a correction-adjustment but she posted unfavorable postings at other bird sites instead. THE LINNIES ARE NOT WHAT I ORDERED BUT THEY ARE VERY PRETTY AND I SEE THAT YOU SUBSTITUTED FOR A PAIR THAT IS A MORE EXPENSIVE.
