I'm sorry to learn that your daughter lost 3 Rosey Bourkes in over a period of one year. There are many reason why birds die. Not knowing the conditions of your daughter's cages, husbandry, environment, nutrition (what she feeds) and how she cares for them, I can't speculate as to why her birds died. I do know that the Rosey Bourkes were very healthy and young when you picked them up. None have died from the siblings of the bourkes you purchased. You've visited several times my large aviary flights with a mixture of different exotic finches and rosey bourkes that are breeding successfully. I do not sell sick birds. The cages in our aviaries are cleaned weekly, all the birds get proper, healthy nutritional diet, I myself takes care of their fresh food diet (veggies, sprouted seeds and others) almost everyday. I breed a lot of different species and mutations of birds. I have more than 50 prs of bourkes of different mutations living and breeding in our aviaries, all of which are housed outdoors and are covered and protected from the weather. I sell a lot of birds including bourkes, rosey's as well as the pricier mutations and have not heard any problem from the buyers, they do update me that the birds they purchased are breeding and have babies and are happy-satisfied - repeat customers. My warranty is clearly stated on my site.

I DO NOT SHIP SICK BIRDS, however travel is very stressful for some of them which are affected more than others. I advised Tony to take the rosella to an avian vet which he ignored because he did not want to spend money on vet bills. Birds get ill even with the best care we provide for them and unfortunately some do not survive. The rubino rosella I sent him was young and would have grown to its normal size as she matured. My health warranty is clearly stated on my site. "We strongly suggest to have a qualified avian veterinarian check your newly acquired bird(s) as soon as you receive them. We guarantee the birds for a period of 3 days (72 hours ONLY) from date of delivery. If the avian vet finds that the bird(s) is tested positive of pre-existing and un-treatable fatal disease, we require a written documentation with test results from him of the disease. Replacement of the bird will be made only one time -there will be no replacement of a replacement. Any newly acquired bird should be quarantined and segregated from your existing birds to insure there is no transfer of air born disease to or from either group. In the event that the bird(s) dies in the 3 days period, take it to a laboratory or an avian vet for a necropsy to determine the cause of death. You notify us in writing or e-mail with the test results that our bird is tested positive with a terminally illness/disease by a qualified independent avian vet. We require the return of the diseased birds closed leg band intact (not cut). Again, replacement of the bird will be made only one time-there will be no replacement of a replacement."

Ritchie thinks worst of a situation. I lost the female adelaide he wanted, so I can not ship the pr to him. I immediately refunded him the full amount. He falsely accused me of selling the birds to someone else. What benefit would I have gained doing this??? I try not to alienate my customers. He was verbally abusive on his 3 messages he left on my phone. He is not a nice person to do business with....

Noel Garcia, is a haggler over everything. He will bombard you with repetitive questions via text, e-mail and phone calls. I am in contact with other people he has done this too. He is too quick to blame everything on the breeder, as he was too cheap to buy medications in a timely manner and take an ill bird to an avian vet immediately.
