| Cockatiels are cute, cuddly, talkative, whistlers and affordable. They're a good 'starter bird' not only for pets, for breeders who have a good knowledge of birds and are starting out breeding. There's an entire organization dedicated to 'Tiels' in their care, behavior and show competiton - that's right birds competing for just their beauty - check out their website www.cockatiels.org They're good little children's birds (not toddler-of course); and good family birds.
