I have a male white belly Caique and he has had a terrible time with his chest feathers. He looked pretty good and got stressed when we put him in bird boarding over a year ago and the seems to have a lot of grey (under) feathers and not enough white and they seem to fall out more then my other white belly. By the way she looks great.

Hi, if you have alot of white/downy soft feathers coming in that's great. It takes months before they come back.
Just keep misting him - and keeping his skin moist - especially in the winter months!!!! But try not to do that in
the evenings before he goes to rest.
