Hello.
About 2 weeks ago or so, I went to rub my Double Yellow Headed Amazon's neck and I noticed there was a lump right behind his jaw, or what I am guessing is equivalent to his jaw. This is the first time I have ever felt something there. Usually my fingers just slide behind his head. I have been checking on it every few days, or whenever he will let me rub his neck. The second time I felt it, it was a little lower, this time in the middle on his neck, still on the side. Today I was able to feel it again, after him not letting me scratch his head for a week or so and now the lump is hard and back behind his jaw. This is the first time I have ever felt a lump of any sort on his neck, out of all the years I have had him. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? I had read some other articles and people said it was the crop, but isn't that usually in the front of their throats? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
