My 8 month old male Black Head is rabid in his cage ... He will do anything he can to get at you if you are anywhere near it ... Do not even think of sticking your hand in there!

His story is being hand raised, sold, then returned to breeder, who was no longer working with small species, so I picked him up as a companion for my female, who is also not in a breeding program.

They do not live in the same cage, they are intentionally on opposite sides of the room.  When out of their respective cages, they will play together on the 'community gym' along with my male Panama Amazon.

I can handle him under one circumstance ... If I pick her up to take her someplace, he wants to go along, so I am allowed to provide his transportation.

Have never had a bird I was unable to turn around, especially at such a young age.  Anyone have ideas?

Montana Sue
