So I'm very close to purchasing a Caique... but I need an answer on this one thing first.
Do black-headed Caiques behave any differently than white-bellied Caiques?
If so, how? How have you learned this?
Thanks!

I've heard Black headed Caiques are slightly more playful than White Bellies, who are a little more reserved.
Youtube is a really great resource

| My observation would be the white bellies are more nippy. The black heads stay in the same temperament range as they are as chicks, while the whites tend to mature and are more stand offish. Also, when deciding on what sex to get, I would recommend a male in the white, and a female in the black. Female whites are more likely to be independent and male blacks can get fickle ... both remind me of cats in their behavior sometimes! An excellent source of information would be Wendy at Best Friends Parrot Garden.
