How long have they been spending time in the nestbox? Do you know if they go in there when you are not around? How old are they?

| They have been in the nest for about a month,I now have two eggs one laid on dec.5 one laid on dec.8,I saw them mate on dec.6 for the first time by watching them on camera.Do you have any advice about diet for them now,and when they are feeding babies?.They are currently eating zupreem maintenance pellets.I also wonder about supplements?.

| Thats a young pair. You really need to be giving them fresh veggies and seed and other soft foods especially when those eggs hatch. Pellets are NEVER enough! There are things in fresh foods that nobody can put into a pellet. Period. I would keep the pellets in a bowl at all times and add seed to another bowl twice a week until it is all gone. Frozen, cut veggies can be bought at the grocery store and given at least 2-3 times a week(thawed, of course) With the correct diet, there is no need for vitamins, but I am sure some would disagree. However you do it, make sure they get enough calcium and vitamins(E) in their diet
