The RB2 that I purchased is 4 months old.  When I received him at the airport he was sick and underweight.  I took him to my avian vet who diagnosed him as having aspirated during hand feeding.

The breeder told us in the vet office that she had the bird health checked but when we requested the records, she had to admit she lied and had no records.

My bird has been on Bronchial dialators and antibiotics for over a month.  He has also been on oxygen for over a month.

The breeder failed to stand behind her stock when I contacted her and we are on opposite sides of the country.

Does anyone know what the outcome of birds like this usually are?  Has anyone ever experienced a similar issue?  Does anyone know of any health issues that RB2's are prone to?  Does the health issues of an RB2 change when they are brought into a climate that their breed did not originate from?

I would be interested in hearing opinions and advice from those who are more experienced in such issues.

My vet by the way is known all over the US so he is very reputable.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
