| I was considering one as a pet, but was concerned that food for them would be hard to manage. Also, how is their poo? Is it pretty messy or an easy clean up...such as a conure. Thank you!

I breed Eclectus and their droppings are no worse or better then a grey or a smaller too.
As far as diet, I feed Hagen Tropimix which is a hookbill diet but has no waste, such as shells.

Poo is not that bad the only poo I hate is lorie poo ! As for special diet mine eat zupreem fruit blend pellets and I cook them mixed veggies every evening and a good quality seed mix once a week. So basically just a really good pelleted diet, Im a fan of hagens and zupreem those two carry the best in my opinion. Just give them a good variety of healthy foods and you cant go wrong.
