I have been wanting to breed my 2 budgies for a long time and the finaly layed eggs. None hatched. Anyway now she layed eggs again, but i was totally unprepared. we had just got a new yorkie puppy also and we have recently moved. could either of these have anything to do with it? The nesting box want in there and she just laid the first egg yesterday.if i put the nesting box back in, will she movw her egg in there and lay the rest in there? and when shoul i candle them? and what is eggfood? plz reply!

| You have to leave the eggs alone. If you touch them then the mother might not take care of them. Hopefully she will move them to the box herself or continue to sit on them and maybe you will get hatchlings.

| Hello, If you wish to keep eggs - make sure ur birds have enough vitamins (usually put some liquid vitamins in the water, that I bough at the pets store), variety of fresh vegetables, fresh water and cuttle bone. If you wish to not breed your birds - reduce sunlight, take out nest box, reduce protein consistent food. Egg food is dry food made of eggs, you can buy it in any pet store. You can start candling eggs after 4-5 days they are laid. Thank you!
