I recently purcahsed a baby SIE Female but am surprised to see the huge size difference between the two. I am not really sure if I ever would want them to mate however if they do I do not want to be a irresponsible breeder and create hybrids unknowingly. Does anyone know of a center in the US that can determine the species of an eclectus?

Get a hold of A Complete Guide to Eclectus Parrots (by K. Wayne Arthur, Fred Bauer and Laura Desborough) may be partly available on google books or at your local library. It clarifies the differences better than any other source. = http://www.eclectusbreeder.com/
