| Hello, I have a 12 year old male blue front amazon. I rescued him from a man that beat him and ignored him constantly about 5 months ago. At first he was very aggressive and we worked threw that. He became my little ray of sunshine and would talk and whistle allot. He loved being with me and letting me preen and play with him. Unfortanetly I had to move. He drove with me in my truck and loved the ride. He loves to go for rides for some reason. However; since being in our new home he has become aggressive again. I have tried several things to calm him down and let him know that he is safe and that I love him and he will never be apart from me. The problem is it is getting to the point where I can not even hold him anymore. He is jumping at me in the cage and he spends all day on his huge tree perch with one of my other parrots which he loves. I have him covered at night and he gets his 12 hours of sleep everynight. I do not want to loose him. What can I do to get my ray of sunshine back? I have tried everything and I could really use some serious help. Just to let everyone know that if he does not come out of this, he will be here with me anyway. After what he has been threw I will never rehome him ever again. I love him to much. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Mysticaleyes

Hello!
Not sure if you found an answer to your problem but even though I don't know much about your breed I do know where you can ask some people who have Blue Front Amazons and may be able to help you out:
