| Ok a lady is wanting to trade me a pair of split blue quaker parrots for my female Yorkie, and one of her babies. She said these birds was miss treated by the owners before her, and that she has only had them a couple of months. I ask her if they were breeding ( hatching/ laying eggs), she said she was told they did, but she is not sure. She is asking $500.00 for both, I am just getting into birds, I have 15 birds now, but not sure what split blue Quaker parrots are really worth. The male is 7 and the female is 2. Anyway my Question is do you think it is a good trade or what? Thank You for all your help

| Personally I don't think so, I would ask her to get a dna test before I make the trade. For example I have two nandays they were supposed to be male & female. I now have two females. If she provides a dna test them yes it is a great deal. Louise
