| I prefer the congos myself, I just think they are prettier because of their lighter coloring and they are bigger then the timnehs. Thats just my oppinion and im interested in hearing about what you have to say about them. So just vote and post a reply on why you like either species.

| Timnehs are the best no doubt about it. they are so much more tame and are fine with change. If you ever consider a grey get a timneh for sure.

| I have worked with Greys for 32 years - starting with Timnehs - straight out of a nest in Africa. I only started breeding Greys in 2000. I prefer Congos.

I love my timneh he just turned 8 months old. He has no problem going to anyone who comes to my house. I have two different cages for him and he goes in them with no problem. He loves to cuddle , and starting to say some words. BTW this is my first bird. He gets along with my dogs, but my dogs are jealous of him...lol

| [font=Arial]I have owned both for a number of years and hands down the Timneh is the best. Congos tend to be so freakish and if you are going for looks solely then choose a Congo but if you are going for looks and temperament then all the way get yourself a Timneh as you will NEVER regret it. and yes they talk just as good as the Congo.[/font]
