I really want to get a bird. I've thought about it for a long time since falling in love with my friend's lovebird. The solomon island is one of my top choices. But I have a few questions for you pros:
1) I want a single bird so it bonds with me but would it prefer to have a mate?
2) Is this a good choice for an inexperienced person?

| Hi, A bird will be fine without another bird friend as long as it's not ignored. The parrot type you picked is fine, but as I would tell anyone...do your homework.
