This is hard to put into words...   I have always been curious about the way an egg develops inside a hen.  When q hen is going to lay,, does oes one egg at a time develop?  What I mean is...  Okay 1 egg has just been layed.  Is there another egg already developed inside the hen? or does the 2nd egg develop and form after the one before it has been layed?

Hi there!

Yes, one egg is laid, as another is already being developed
