| Hi, When does she bite you? i.e. putting her in the cage, taking her out of the cage, petting her, etc... How long have you had her?

Sorry, I just read what you wrote again and it said that you had just got her. What did the previous owners tell you about her? If you havent had her that long then she might not be comfy enough in her new surroundings her you to handle her a whole bunch yet.

| hi! this is somewhat typical of a female Eclectus - they are a little moody, and do things in their time, and their own way. It may take some time for you to re-program her the way you want her to live in concert with your lifestyle. She may be scared for a while with her new surroundings. She may also have separation anxiety as well. Overall, this is an excellent bird - and you'll enjoy her - at that age - she's still a baby. Have PATIENCE...she'll grow on you and vice versa. They do like their schedules, and enjoy attention. They're very attentive, and like to learn - to talk and do things with you. She'll be interactive as you show her your affection on a regular basis. Give her treats -while your holding her....she'll grow to trust you! Manon www.wingspanaviaries.com
