| Hello, I'm aware that there's a bird-safe antibacterial wipe available in the market. However, do you know if the regular antibacterial wipes that are readily available in stores are safe for birds? I plan to use it to wipe cages and table tops. Thanks!

| Hi, The ones that are readily available are not safe to use to wipe down cages with. Unless, you wipe cages down (birds away from cages) then rinsing very very well. I only use "people" wipes in my kitchen and bathroom. I use Lysol brand. For the cages I use Pet Focus and Poop Off.

| I read that baby wipes are good for wiping off the rails and the cage in general, and it works. I feel that baby wipes are used for babies and should be ok for birds. Weize

| Hi Weize, I think baby wipes might be fine, as long as the area then is rinsed. I must say that I don't agree with "if it's safe for babies it must be safe for birds".

| Yeah I wouldnt go with the safe for babies safe for birds thing. I would say whatever you use, if its not meant for birds/pets I would rinse really well.
