I've been around birds for going on 23 years now and, depsite a few heartaches along the way....I keep coming back! lol. Cockatiels are my all time favorite

Looking forward to spring/summer!

Happy Birding!

Hi Heather:

Getting ready to intro our aviary ourselves.  Glad to meet you.  Cockatiels are unique little guys aren't they .  I like them all but find myself leaning towards those macaws...greenwings just tickle me to the inth degree....they all have their special place in our lives....when you're hooked, with these guys it's DEFINITELY ALL or nothing .  Take care.

Shivering in Illinois,

Paula, Dani and Tony

Although we are classified as an aviary, we do not choose to breed for profit.  We aren't in a rush to sell, sell, sell. We aren't the most spectacular aviary in the world.  We aren't the BEST of the BEST of the BEST.  We aren't the bird police.  We don't have an opinion because everyone else has that same opinion.  We don't believe in that type of attitude.  But we do believe in the care and housing of our birds and desire to give them the a good diet, a place of security and a place where they never have to leave.   We also believe in pairing our birds so that they have companions.  We sell when birds are available to buyers who desire a life long pet.  We have parrots in our aviary who have been discarded by the public and by one time breeders.  A discarded pet is a displaced pet who is confused by new surroundings, confused by change of diet,  and sometimes the product of abuse or the lack or change in attention.  We ask if you desire a pet from us, please think on it long and hard as these beautiful creatures live many, many years and are creatures of habit.   You, therefore, become their food supply, their mate, their home, their familiar surroundings.  You are responsible for a safe and happy atmosphere.   We express our gratitude in advance that you have taken time to read this. May your day be blessed and may you enjoy the incredible colors as one of these beautiful birds spreads its painted wings for flight...incredible doesn't even cover it.

Thanks for the warm welcome from ya'll. Breeding has been under way here for the last 5 days or so and I am for sure expecting eggs within the next week from my EM/WF x NG/EM pair, the WF EM x Cinn heavy Pearl pair and the Cinn WF x WF Pied pair.

I've managed to add music to the site as well as finally getting pictures up of the budgies!

Here's to happy, big,healthy 2008 hatchlings!

Heather
